Throughout my career in science, engineering and computers, I maintained a high interest in the problems of people and humanity…How could we avoid suffering? How could we be living our best lives? How could we be our most evolved selves and create our best possible world?
In the late 90’s I became aware of the field of life coaching, and set about to meet some coaches, including the late Thomas Leonard, founder of the International Coaching Federation.
I was impressed with the people I met and with what they were doing! Authentic people legitimately working towards a better world one person at a time in an unassuming fashion. I determined that coaching was a career direction I wanted to work towards, but wasn’t ready to make the big jump right away.
In 2001 I was a software engineer, successful, but not necessarily living by all of my values. After the attacks, I resolved that if I wanted a better world, I needed to start to do more to contribute and live in the way that I believed in. I left traditional employment, underwent coach training and founded MyLifeCoach.com, which went on to become the number one ranked life coaching site in the world for many years.
I was extremely pleased with the results my clients were getting from coaching…It exceeded my wildest expectations. Not only were my clients becoming happier, more fulfilled, performing better and getting better results in their lives…But their relationships were improving, their families were becoming healthier, their workplaces were functioning better, and their communities were being impacted positively.
Once, a client on one side of the country told me about something particularly meaningful and wonderful that happened to him, and I knew it was because of some groundbreaking work another client of mine had made within a corporation on the other side of the country! I was profoundly heart struck. Coaching absolutely does have the power to change the world one person at time.
I typically work with ambitious career seekers, solopreneurs, CEO’s/C-levels of mid-size private enterprises, or directors/VP’s within fortune 500 companies including Amazon, Microsoft, JPMorgan Chase, Verizon Communications, Salesforce and Intuit. I also work with artists, health-seekers, or any person engaging with energy balance, optimal performance and fulfilment.
To be more transparent, when I say “energy balance,” I am often talking about the low level addictions that can siphon time, energy, happiness and in truth, permanent deep healing opportunities out of our lives. For many top performers, if they truly want to reach the next level of performance, leadership and results, they need to address dopamine and low level addictions in their lives.
